Survey Builder lets you design surveys from scratch using a drag-and-drop editor. You can add multiple-choice, open-text, vocal, and image questions, configure skip logic so respondents only see relevant questions, and set quotas to control who completes the survey. When a respondent answers an open-ended question, the AI can automatically ask a contextual follow-up question to get richer data. Pulse Classifier is designed for teams that already have open-ended response data — from past surveys, CRM exports, or external datasets. You upload an Excel file, Smartinterview’s AI automatically generates a set of topic codes from the content, and then classifies every response against those topics. You can review and adjust topics before classification runs, and export the final results as a multi-sheet Excel file. Pulse Qualitative handles interview and focus group recordings. Upload an audio or video file, and Smartinterview transcribes it with speaker diarization — automatically labelling who said what and when. The transcript appears in an interactive workspace where you can chat with the AI to surface themes, quotes, or summaries across one or many interviews.
